Noutes school site, open competition

The site is located along Rue des Alpes, connecting Renens Station to the historic center of Crissier. The project involves the construction of a new primary school, an after-school reception unit, a multipurpose hall, and a sports hall, replacing the existing college built in 1921. Designed to integrate with the natural topography, the project is organized over three progressive levels, respecting the slope of the terrain. It consists of two simple, compact volumes: the school building and the sports hall, connected at the basement level. This level houses a semi-underground parking lot and shared service spaces. The school occupies the upper ground floor to the second floor, while the after-school reception unit, located on the lower ground floor, can operate independently. The semi-underground sports hall opens onto the schoolyard with a bright entrance hall and access to the basement-level locker rooms.

Le site de Noutes se situe le long de la rue des Alpes, reliant la Gare de Renens au centre historique de Crissier. Le projet prévoit la construction d’une nouvelle école primaire, d’une Unité d’accueil Parascolaire, d’une salle multidisciplinaire et d’une salle de sport, en remplacement du collège de 1921. Conçu pour s’intégrer à la topographie naturelle, le projet s’organise sur trois niveaux progressifs, respectant la pente du terrain. Il se compose de deux volumes simples et compacts : le bâtiment scolaire et celui de la salle de sport, connectés au sous-sol. Ce niveau abrite un parking semi-enterré et des espaces de service partagés. L’école occupe le rez-de-chaussée supérieur jusqu’au deuxième étage, tandis que l’ Unité d’accueil Parascolaire, située au rez-de-chaussée inférieur, peut fonctionner de manière indépendante. La salle de sport, semi-enterrée, s’ouvre sur la cour avec un hall lumineux et un accès aux vestiaires en sous-sol.
